How we do it

Everyone at GSK focuses on three priorities: Innovation, Performance, Trust.

We invest in scientific and technical excellence to develop and launch a pipeline of new products that meet the needs of patients, payers and consumers.

  • We have Research and Development Facilities in Cork and Sligo dedicated to introducing new products.
  • We have been a leader in respiratory medicine for nearly 50 years.
  • 3 product launches across our innovation brands in 2018.

We aim to achieve industry-leading growth by investing effectively in our business, developing our people and delivering flawlessly.

  • We export Irish-made products to over 70 countries worldwide.
  • Our consumer Healthcare business is 'number 1' in oral care and pain relief sales in Ireland.
  • Our Dungarvan site produces more than 6.5 billion Panadol tablets a year.

We commit to ensuring the quality, safety and reliable supply of our products; and to building trust through our approach to engagement, pricing, global health and being a modern employer.

  • We partner with academic institutions and schools across Ireland to promote 'STEM' capabilities and breakthrough science.
  • €230,000 in unrestricted grants has been given to healthcare charities as part of the GSK Ireland IMPACT Awards since 2015.
  • Since 2016 we disclose all payments made to individual Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Organisations on our website.

Our values and expectations

Our goal is to be one of the world's most innovative, best performing, and trusted healthcare companies. For us, this work starts right here in Ireland.

Whether from our Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Healthcare Irish businesses headquaters in Dublin, or across our 3 manufacturing sites in Cork, Dungarvan and Sligo, our employees and our values of patient focus, transparency, respect, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.
