Charitable Partnerships

We are a global healthcare company on a mission: To help people do more, feel better, live longer.. GSK pursues this mission not only through the medicines and vaccines we develop and manufacture, but also through a wide variety of community programmes.

Healthy people make healthy communities and healthy communities are at the heart of strong societies. As a business we have responsibilities to society, and society has expectations of us. GSK is committed to promoting health and well-being in the communities in which we work. Outside GSK, we are working with charity partners big and small all over the world to help people to do more, feel better and live longer. In Ireland, we have a number of charity partnerships and volunteering initiatives focused on health and community-based projects. These include:

Global Programmes

Across the world we invest in programmes that increase access to health and well-being and improve outcomes for whole communities.

Humanitarian Support

GSK works with partners and humanitarian organisations to prepare for and respond to emergency situations

Barretstown is a specially designed camp that provides therapeutic recreation programmes for children with serious illness and their families.

Charity of the Year

GSK Ireland's Charity of the Year Partnership is a two year charity partnership supported by all five GSK sites and businesses in Ireland

Making a difference awards

The Making a Difference programme rewards GSK employees that are volunteering their personal time to benefit their local communities.

Pulse Partnership

The PULSE Volunteer Partnership is GSK’s flagship skills-based volunteering initiative.

At GSK, we're on a mission to help people do more, feel better and live longer. That's why we've come up with Volunteer Days to give employees the opportunity get out from behind their desks and support local communities.
